We do not collect more data than needed to run the service, and we do not sell personal data.
We process account data, content, and payment status because it is necessary for the performance of our contract with you (providing the Cuer service). We process contact form data and short-lived technical logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and keeping the service secure and reliable.
We use a small number of service providers to run Cuer:
Cuer uses no advertising tracking and no analytics cookies. The app stores only functional data in your browser's localStorage: your session token, your theme preference, and an offline cache of your cuelists so the app keeps working when connectivity drops. None of this is used to track you across other sites.
Account data and content are kept for as long as your account exists, and deleted when you delete your account. Technical logs are kept for a short period only, for security and troubleshooting, and are then removed.
All traffic to and from Cuer is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are stored only as PBKDF2 hashes. Access to production data is restricted to the people who need it to operate the service.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add features or change providers. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. For significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
