Cuer is a software-as-a-service platform, available at cuer.show (application at app.cuer.show, API at api.cuer.show), for creating and running real-time cuelists and shotlists for special effects and pyrotechnic crews at festivals and live events. Cuer is published and operated by HYRED BV, a company incorporated in Belgium ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
You need an account to use Cuer. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including actions by crew members you invite. Notify us promptly at hello@cuer.show if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Cuer offers four plans: Free, Starter, Pro, and Unlimited. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial at the Pro level; no payment details are required to start the trial.
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you may not:
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, after notice where reasonably possible.
Cuer is an organization and communication tool. It is not a safety system.
Cuer helps crews plan, share, and follow cuelists and shotlists. It is not a replacement for pyrotechnic safety procedures, firing-system safety features, permits, licenses, or any applicable laws and regulations.
All decisions about arming and firing effects, and all compliance with safety rules, permits, and local regulations, remain entirely the responsibility of the user and the operator on site. Never fire an effect based solely on information displayed in Cuer.
You retain all rights to the content you create in Cuer — your festivals, stages, artists, cues, shots, and timecode shows. You grant us the limited license needed to host, store, and display that content in order to provide the service. The Cuer software, design, and branding remain the property of HYRED BV.
We make reasonable efforts to keep Cuer available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Plan for the possibility of connectivity loss during shows, as you would with any networked tool.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or show interruptions.
You may stop using Cuer and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that materially breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as liability limits and intellectual property) continue to apply.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Belgium.
